Reminders & Shinobi Alerts

/remind supports two related workflows: ordinary reminders and automatic Shinobi Alerts.

Custom reminders​

Give Kakashi a duration and a reason, for example a reminder several hours from now. Custom reminder durations can extend up to roughly three years.

Cooldown-aware alerts​

Kakashi also knows several activities with active cooldowns, such as training, voting, ninja hunts, exploration, chakra activities, rewards and Ninken activities. A preset alert is only created when that activity currently has a cooldown to wait for.

You can list reminders, mute an individual reminder and toggle automatic alerts.

tip

Use a preset alert for a game activity instead of guessing its remaining duration manually. Kakashi can tie the alert to the actual cooldown state.

Common mistakes​

  • Trying to create a preset alert when that activity is already available.
  • Confusing a custom reminder with an automatic activity alert.
  • Assuming muting one alert disables every reminder.
