Moderation

Kakashi keeps server moderation under /mod: bans, kicks, timeouts, warnings, message cleanup and channel locks.

Every action depends on three things at once: your permission, Kakashi's permission, and Discord role/channel hierarchy. A bot can have Ban Members and still be unable to ban the owner or a member whose role is too high. Channel overwrites can also block an action even when the bot role looks correct at server level.

Choose the action that matches the situation: warn to record behavior, timeout for a temporary restriction, kick to remove without banning, ban to prevent a normal rejoin, clear to clean messages, and lock/unlock to control sending in a channel.

Useful command limits are documented on each page—for example /mod clear accepts 4–100 messages, ban history deletion accepts 0–7 days, and a timeout must be longer than 40 seconds.
