Your First RP Message

Before sending the first message, make sure the server has enabled NarutoVerse in that channel/thread and that you have a valid selected character. If the server requires approval, the character must already be approved.

  1. Select the character from /nv characters or the available proxy controls.
  2. Enter an enabled RP channel/thread. If you are using a scene, join it first.
  3. Type a normal Discord message.
  4. NarutoVerse removes the original and reposts the content through its webhook using the character identity.

To speak out of character without proxying, start the message with the server's OOC prefix. The default is:

// this is OOC

If a normal message stays under your Discord account, check the current scope and character selection first. In a scene, also confirm that you actually joined it; scene messages use the snapshot captured at join time.
