Identifying RP Message Authors

A proxied character message is not anonymous to authorized moderation. Use the Who Sent This? message context action on a NarutoVerse proxy message to look up the Discord account recorded as its author.

NarutoVerse stores an authorship mapping, not a promise of permanent chat transcripts. The server chooses how long those mappings remain available: 30, 90, 180 or 365 days. The default is 90 days.

After a mapping expires or is unavailable, the context action cannot reconstruct authorship from nothing. Choose a retention period that matches your moderation needs and privacy policy.

The same message context menu includes Edit RP Message and Delete RP Message where the caller is authorized to use them.
