RPG Ranking
A leaderboard position is not a separate stat you manually level. It is derived from the metric selected in /leaderboard.
Different categories reward different styles of play, so there is no single leaderboard that represents every dimension of a shinobi.
How it connects
Leaderboards compare one stored metric at a time—XP, Ryō, wins, missions, mastery or Ninken progression. They are useful for comparison, but no single category describes every part of a player's build or game progress.
A leaderboard is a view over existing progression. It does not grant a separate “ranking stat” simply for appearing on the list.
Practical guidance
Rankings summarize progress; they do not create it. Use them to compare broad standing, then return to the underlying systems—skills, chapters, combat, jutsus and world progression—to improve.
Compare trends over time rather than chasing a single snapshot. Rankings naturally move as other players progress.
Common mistakes
- Treating leaderboard position as a permanent rank.
- Assuming one metric represents the entire build.
- Optimizing only for visibility rather than useful progression.
