Seal Weaving

/sealweave starts a fūinjutsu puzzle. The panel tells you the trace order and which parts need reinforcement. The objective is to complete the formula with as few errors and wasted moves as possible.

One attempt

  1. Select a seal part.
  2. Rotate it before tracing until its orientation matches what the formula needs. A traced part can no longer be rotated.
  3. Trace parts in the order shown by the puzzle.
  4. Reinforce only the parts marked as requiring reinforcement, and only after they have been traced.
  5. Press Seal when the formula is ready. Reaching 20 moves also ends the attempt.

You begin with 8 ink, or 9 ink when your chakra control is at least 100. Rotating spends a move; tracing/reinforcing spends a move and ink. A trace attempted in the wrong order or orientation still costs ink and adds an error. Unnecessary reinforcement is penalized too.

Result

The final stability considers mistakes, orientation, missing traces and missing reinforcements. Better stability improves the XP, ryō, ability-point and drop outcome.

An attempt has a 5-minute total limit and can also expire after 3 minutes without interaction. Expiring is not the same as sealing a finished formula, so complete and submit it before either limit.
