Scene Character Snapshots

When you join a scene, NarutoVerse stores a snapshot of the character version used for that participation. The source character can still be edited later, but the existing scene does not silently rewrite its participant identity.

For example, if you enter a mission as a Chūnin with one avatar and three approved jutsus, then change the profile the next day, the ongoing scene can keep the version you entered with. A future scene can use the newer character version.

This prevents mid-scene edits from changing an avatar, rank, lore or technique list retroactively. It also gives scene recovery a stable identity after an interruption.

Inside an active scene, proxying can use the participant snapshot instead of a separate thread-wide character selection. The snapshot is not a second character you manage; it is captured automatically for continuity.

If a major promotion, time skip or character rewrite should define the next story period, finish the current scene or start a new one rather than expecting the existing snapshot to mutate.
