Creating Scenes

Open /nv scenes and choose the create action. A scene gives the RP a defined participant list, thread/context and stable character snapshots.

By default, a player can own 3 scenes and be joined to 10, although the server can change those limits. A scene starts with the owner as a participant; the configured default participant cap is 8 and the setting cannot exceed 30.

Once the scene is active, use its controls to manage participants and identities. Narrator and NPC speaking are also scene actions when you have the required assignment or staff permission — they are not separate slash commands.

Character snapshots intentionally preserve what the character looked like when captured for the scene instead of silently rewriting established scene continuity after every profile edit.
