Timing Out Members

Use /mod timeout member:<user> time:<duration> [reason] for a temporary Discord timeout. You and Kakashi need Moderate Members.

The duration uses readable values accepted by the command, such as 10m, 2h or 1d, and must be longer than 40 seconds. Discord may impose its own maximum timeout duration. The command refuses a member who is already timed out, the server owner, Kakashi itself, or a target protected by role hierarchy.

The reason is optional. A timeout is different from a warning: it immediately restricts the member according to Discord's timeout rules rather than only recording a moderation case.
