Banning Members

Use /mod ban member:<user> [reason] [days] when a member should no longer be able to rejoin the server normally. Both you and Kakashi need Ban Members.

days controls how many days of the member's recent messages Discord removes with the ban. Kakashi accepts 0–7 days. The reason is optional and is included with the moderation result; reasons longer than 250 characters are rejected.

Kakashi will not ban the server owner, itself, or a member protected by role hierarchy. Your highest role must be above the target, and Kakashi also needs to be able to ban that target.

If your server configured a custom ban message with /config banmessage, Kakashi uses that presentation after a successful ban.
