How Squads Work
/squad opens the squad panel. There are no public /squad create or /squad join slash subcommands—creation, joining, invitations, requests, leadership and expeditions are handled with the controls inside that panel.
Creating a squad
You need at least level 25 to create one. The name must be 3–24 characters. Your squad is tied to a village and currently supports up to 5 members; creating or joining one can also establish the matching world affiliation.
A new squad receives a short join code. Players can enter a code through the panel to send a join request, while the leader can invite users directly. Requests and invitations expire after 24 hours if nobody completes them.
A player already affiliated with a different village cannot simply join a squad from another village. Resolve the affiliation requirement first.
Membership rules
Leaving, joining or otherwise changing squad membership starts a 6-hour squad-change cooldown. Membership is also locked while an expedition is in its recruiting or active phase, so organize the roster before starting one.
The leader is responsible for accepting requests, inviting/removing members, transferring leadership and disbanding. Transfer leadership before leaving if you want the squad to continue.
Why the stored roster matters
Chat messages do not count as squad membership. An expedition uses the members that are actually registered in the squad and then the participants confirmed for that run. If someone “agreed in chat” but never joined or confirmed through the panel, the activity does not treat them as a participant.
For expedition timers, success chance and rewards, continue with Expeditions.
