Ninken Battles

Use /pet battle opponent:@user to challenge another player's Ninken. Both players must have an active companion with more than 10 energy, neither Ninken can be exploring, and you cannot challenge bots or yourself. The challenged player has 3 minutes to accept or decline.

When the duel starts, each companion spends a random 5–10 energy. If that player prepared a Shinobi Ration, their energy cost is reduced by 25% (rounded up, minimum 1). The command then goes on a 30-minute cooldown.

How the arena fight works

Both Ninken start with 60 battle HP. Attacks use their Attack and Defense stats; each attack has a 13% dodge chance and a 16% critical chance, with critical hits dealing 1.7× damage. The simulation can run for up to 30 rounds; if both are still standing at the limit, one gets a decisive finishing hit.

Only the winner receives the main rewards: 30–250 Ryō and 15–30 Ninken XP before any active world or XP modifiers. The battle can also drop items independently:

DropBase chance
Chakra Residue18%
Tool Fragment12%
Battle Record9%
Chakra Metal4%
Shinobi Ration2%
Arena Emblem1.5%

Winning with at least 70% of the 60 battle HP remaining multiplies drop chances by 1.2; finishing in 10 rounds or fewer multiplies them by 1.15. These bonuses stack.

warning

Ninken battles use the companion's energy and stats. They do not consume your shinobi's battle HP or chakra and are separate from /battle.
