Initial Setup

NarutoVerse starts disabled. Use /nv setup for the guided setup/preflight and /nv settings for detailed options. Configure the roleplay area before enabling it.

  1. Choose the RP channels/categories and any exclusions.
  2. Give Kakashi View Channel, Send Messages, Manage Messages and Manage Webhooks in those scopes.
  3. Configure staff roles and, if you require character approval, the review channel.
  4. Set a fallback log channel and any more specific logs you need.
  5. Choose OC/canon policy, ruleset and approval behavior.
  6. Review proxy options such as the OOC prefix and mention rules.
  7. Adjust scene limits only if the defaults do not fit your server.
  8. Run preflight and fix blocking checks before enabling NarutoVerse.

Preflight can also warn about useful permissions such as Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History and thread permissions. A warning may not block activation, but the related feature can still work poorly.

Start with one test RP channel. Confirm proxying, character review, scene creation and logging there before expanding the scope.

Automatic narrative events and the optional RPG Bridge are better enabled later, after ordinary RP is working correctly.
