Settings Reference

This page summarizes the server-level settings exposed by NarutoVerse. Use /nv settings for the actual configuration interface.

SettingDefault

Allowed role mentionsnone

The OOC prefix can be 1–8 characters. Message mapping retention accepts 30, 90, 180 or 365 days. Up to 25 role IDs can be placed in the role-mention allow-list.

RPG Bridge

The RPG integration defaults to fully opt-in:

SettingDefault
Linkedfalse
Rewardsfalse
Consume chakrafalse
Max XP reward500
Max Ryō reward1000
Max item amount5

The configuration validates upper ranges for these caps rather than allowing unlimited RP-to-RPG rewards.

warning

Do not enable rewards or chakra consumption merely because character linking is enabled. They are separate controls so servers can choose the exact level of mechanical integration they want.

Automatic narrative tools

Ambient/automatic narrative features are disabled by default.

SettingDefault
Ambient enabledfalse
Automatic eventsfalse
Interval30 minutes
Recent activity window180 minutes
Encounterstrue
Bingo Book cluestrue
NPC spawnstrue
Weathertrue
Zone eventstrue
Narrative missionstrue

The interval and activity windows can each be configured from 10 to 1440 minutes.

The individual event-type toggles decide what would be allowed after the ambient/automatic system itself is enabled.

Scopes

NarutoVerse stores enabled categories, enabled channels and excluded scopes. Each list is bounded to keep configuration manageable. An exclusion takes priority when the scope check is resolved.

Channels and staff

The server can configure review/profile channels, a fallback log channel, feature-specific logs and staff role lists. See the dedicated guides for recommended layouts.
