Logging

NarutoVerse can separate operational/moderation records from ordinary roleplay. A fallback log channel is recommended even if you do not create a dedicated channel for every event type.

Available log destinations​

The current configuration can store channels for:

  • fallback;
  • characters;
  • stats;
  • reviews;
  • scenes;
  • missions;
  • lore;
  • moderation;
  • RPG integration;
  • settings.

A server can keep everything in one fallback channel or split high-volume categories into dedicated channels.

For a smaller server:

Split logs because staff need different information, not because every available category must have its own channel. Too many quiet log channels can be harder to monitor than one well-organized fallback.

Permissions​

Kakashi must be able to view and send to the configured log channels. Keep sensitive moderation/review logs staff-only if they contain information that should not appear in public RP areas.

Why logging matters with webhooks​

Roleplay messages are presented through webhooks, but NarutoVerse keeps the author mappings needed for supported moderation actions. Staff logs can record relevant changes without exposing staff-only details to ordinary players.
